Post #8: A quick rant
I hate selfies and those that love to take them (excluding you, my lovely reader). I’m starting to feel like people only like to travel so that their friends can be envious of their selfies that they post incessantly on social media. I’ve seen people be endlessly bored while hearing about a historical site, but when it’s time to take a selfie with their f&^king selfie stick, they make it seem like they are having a ball.
While watching a cool documentary on Netflix today (Fyre – I recommend) I saw that there is a successful company in Russia that allows customers to simulate as if they are living it up on a private plane for selfies….but the plane never leaves the runway.
I hate what humanity is coming to. This must end.
The Fyre doc was riveting. I almost had a heart attack watching it.
